Head Butler position Antwerp-Belgium

A private family of four is seeking a highly experienced and professional Head Butler to take the helm of their impressive private residence and expansive domain.
We are looking for a highly organised and polished professional to manage the entire household operation and lead an existing, dedicated team of 5 fulltime staff members ( Butler, Chef, 2 Housekeepers and a Chauffeur ) This is a leadership role for someone dedicated to maintain the highest standards of luxury private service.
The property includes an 8-bedroom, 9- bathroom main house, 2 swimming pools, a 3 bedroom guesthouse, tennis court and spans a domain of 7 hectares.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance and presentation of the residence and grounds
Ensure impeccable hands-on service standards for the family and guests with extensive experience in high- end formal service
Lead, mentor and manage the existing household staff team. This includes creating and implementing staff schedules and detailed service- and cleaning schedules
Management of inventories ( wine cellar, silverware, stock,... ), budgets, and financial reports for the household expenses
Management of external contractors, including negotiation of price quotations, quality control for completed works and scheduling maintenance
Organisation and execution of private events and parties, including hiring and supervision of temporary event staff
A willingness to be hands-on and assist the team where necessary to ensure seamless operations and excellent service at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience working as a Head Butler or Estate Manager in a similar UHNW - private household or luxury estate
Must be a graduate of a recognised Butler Academy
Demonstrated strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Fluent in both English and French ( written and spoken ). A working knowledge of Dutch is considered a significant advantage
Professional, discreet, impeccable presentation and a proactive results-oriented approach
Proactively anticipate the family's needs and preferences
You will be working 5 days a week, and need to be flexible with your hours. Weekends on rotation
Accommodation in a separate cottage is provided, however not an obligation
An annual budget will be provided for professional attire. The required uniform is a business suit, white shirt, tie and black leather dress shoes. A dark coloured suit during winter months and a lighter colour during the summer months. The successful candidate may select his preferred tailor
Negotiable salary based on experience.
